Phoebe Ministries operates its own in-house pharmacy. Phoebe Services Pharmacy provides dispensing and consulting services to all Phoebe communities. The goal of Phoebe Services Pharmacy is to ensure efficient, consistent and qualitative services to residents. Located near Fogelsville, Phoebe Services Pharmacy is equipped with a state-of-the-art computer system to handle the special processing capabilities needed for dispensing, billing, accounting, resident charting and reporting. Currently, the pharmacy serves Phoebe's four nursing homes, two assisted living facilities and many of our independent living residents. Please contact us:

Medicare Drug Plan Support
Medicare Drug Plan Support for residents and their families is available 24 hours a day through a special hot line provided by Medicare. Personal independent drug plan reviews designed to optimize plan benefits is also available for residents and families.
Pharmacy Services to Health Care Centers
Phoebe provides a forum through which its medical directors can interact with clinical and administrative staff. This unique Physician's Advisory Panel encourages professional collaboration for best clinical practices designed to provided safe, consistent treatment to every resident.
Medication Regimen Review
A specially trained pharmacist who is board certified in psychiatric pharmacy and certified in geriatric pharmacy conducts our health care residents' medication regimen reviews. These highly specialized credentials in addition to a long tenure with Phoebe provide the highest quality analysis to optimize medication regimens for residents. A face-to-face approach with residents and families as well as each of the health disciplines; including nutrition, rehabilitation, and social services, activities, medical and clinical services, promotes a highly coordinated treatment plan. Because of this review, residents often take fewer medications. They also often enjoy a better response the medications they take, are able to control chronic illnesses, and lower their risk of adverse reactions. The staff also benefits from a wide range of educational training programs provided by our consultant pharmacist.

Pharmacy services to Assisted Living Communities
Specialized packaging has been designed which accommodates residents with impaired vision or cognition. In addition, professional guidance is offered to help residents take their medicine safely.
Pharmacy Services to Active Adult Communities
Phoebe Berks residents enjoy twice daily weekday deliveries of their medication orders and refills directly to their building. Saturday deliveries are also offered.
